This boiler treatment satisfies the need for the water contained in a typical vented, outdoor hot water wood furnace. These Sodium Nitrite pucks are able to treat 60 US gallons each. It is recommended that you completely dissolve each puck in a 3 to 5 gallon plastic container. Then pour into the open vent of your boiler as per manufactures instructions. This process is to obtain a 600 to 1000 PPM Sodium Nitrite concentration to protect your boiler.

The Topline Test Strip 3-1 kit (TTS3-1), comes with 5 individual sealed foil packets each containing a single test strip with three seperate color tabs on the strip and a comparison chart for Nitrite,PH and Freeze Point.All in a UV resealable plastic pouch. This test kit will only read if there is a 5% minimum Glycol present your your boiler water. If you do not have Glycol in your boiler system, you must add Glycol to your test sample to activate the test strip.
