Side arm heat exchangers are designed to use the natural thermo-siphon concept on the domestic water side. Our side arm heat exchangers are constructed  of 304 stainless steel material utilizing an internal finned tube design to increase the heat transfer coefficient by creating increased turbulance on the shell side. The fin enhanced design provides a surface area eight times greater than the traditional bare tube copper sidearms.
The fin enhanced design sidearm provides a larger capacity and faster heating while using a shorter unit.
