In these most recent times, technology has allowed us to communicate with others like no other time in human history by means of, cell phones and social media. Unfortunately, this has caused an alarming rate of decline in personal interaction and verbal communications.

This decline may cause us to be less aware of our family and friends, likes and dislikes or the social problems we all are dealing with.

Often, a text message sent or received on these electronic devices can be misinterpreted, because there are no speech tones, facial or body language clues that we rely on as part of human interaction.   

Also, technology has created entertainment through computers and game consoles that in many cases have replaced the person to person interaction and play.  

It has been written, that over 400,000 years ago, mankind gained the ability to control fire. This was the turning point in the cultural aspect of human evolution. Early mankind at the end of the daylight hours, spent time around the camp fire for heat, light and this is where language, songs, stories and relationships grew. This ultimately shaped cultures and understanding of their fellow human. This desire and attraction to an outside fireside setting with other humans is still in us to this day.
